Kiosks have now become commonplace and are an accepted form of interaction between a business and a customer.

More and more, customers are expecting to use a kiosk for availability checking and bookings, from airline flights to cinema ticket retrieval.

Using propirietary software, as developed by the Probooker Hotel Management System, a typical customer process-flow would be as follows:

 

  • For Bookings made via the internet
  1. Customer makes their booking via your website which is then stored in the database of the PMS
  2. The customer is sent a confirmation of their booking by email and SMS
  3. The customer arrives at the hotel and can interact with the kiosk
  4. Customer either swipes their credit card or enters a booking PIN number to identify themselves
  5. Customers are given a door lock code or a doorcard/smartcard with which they can enter their room
  6. Customers are able to checkout automatically at the expiry tome of their booking
  • For walk-Ins
  1. Customer checks live availability for their chosen period by interacting with the PMS via the kiosk
  2. Customers can pay at the kiosk with their choice of credit or debit card
  3. Customer are provided with a receipt for their purchase
  4. Customers are given a door lock code or a doorcard/smartcard with which they can enter their room
  5. Customers are able to checkout automatically at the expiry tome of their booking
